Dozens of activists in white suites made a protest-action against incinerators.
They climbed to the top of the plant and pulled down the banner “Close the incinerator – See you in Copenhagen”.
Then, with flyers and a sound system they explained the reasons of the protest to the people. An old -and dangerous- incinerator is already working in Padua. Beside it a new and bigger plant has been built, and it'll be inaugurated in a few days.
That's the reason of today's action: it's well-known that incinerators are useless and dangerous for human and environmental health, and what we want is to close it now!
From Padua and from rest of Italy we'll go to Copenhagen to take part to the mobilizations, stating that climate justice is now, globally and locally!
