Inviatamo tutti ad un incontro pubblico insieme al filososo Micheal Hardt e allì'artista e docente universitario Rene Gabri (che porterà la sua esperienza di newyorkese direttamente coinvolto nel movimento).
Dalla primavera araba, fino alle piazze spagnole, da Wall Street a Venezia, per capire come stiamo vambiando il mondo.
L'incontro si svolgerà alle 14.30 in campo S. Salvador, a seguire assemblea, performances artistiche e teatrali, musica.

Rene Gabri: Nato a Tehran, trasferito ad Atene, poi a Los Angeles, attualmente vive a New York.I suoi progetti personali sono basati maggiormente sui mezzi come film, video, audio e testo. Esplora un grande ambito di temi come le città, la memoria, la confessione, cultura popolare, televisione, musica e questioni relative ad essere/stare-in-mezzo ed essere alla deriva in generale. In oltre ai suoi progetti personali, si occupa , ed è anche fondatore, di una serie di situazioni e strutture collaborativi.Alla fine del programma di studio indipendente del Whitney Museum nel 1999, René iniziò 16Beaver (16beavergroup.org). Da allora si impegna con il progetto di una piattaforma, in continuo sviluppo, per la creazione ed il sostegno di indagini indipendenti del genere critico, culturale, e politico, ed anche di uno spazio per le amicizie. La sua collaborazione con Avreen Anastas si evolve attraverso il lavoro che fanno insieme presso 16Beaver. La serie Radioactive Discussion, creata da loro, era il controparte fisico al loro progetto immaginario Homeland Security Cultural Bureau (hscb.org). Insieme con Erin McGonigle e Heimo Lattner, lavora anche sotto il nome e-Xplo (e-Xplo.org), creando progetti che coinvolgono la rilegatura, l’esplorazione, e lo sviluppo di un lessico specifico per siti web.
Più recentemente ha tenuto corsi presso l’Università Iuav di Venezia e la City University of New York, Staten Island.
Ayreen Anastas was born in Bethlehem, Palestine. She currently lives in Brooklyn. Anastas is one of the organizers of the 16 Beaver group, an artist community that functions as a social and collaborative space on 16 Beaver street in downtown Manhattan, where the group hosts panel discussions, film series, artist talks, radio recordings, reading groups and more. Anastas’ recent artistic projects and exhibitions include: Pasolini Pa* Palestine filmed while at Al-Ma’mal residency in Jerusalem in 2003 (shown at Homeworks III, Beirut 2005, and at Hebbel Theater, Berlin 2006), M* of Bethlehem (shown at Kettles Yard, Cambridge, 2009, Argos festival in Brussels 2005 and at CCA Glasgow — In the poem about love you don’t write the word love? 2005), Thus I spoke, and ever more softly: for I feared my own thoughts and hinterthoughts (shown in Never Part, at BOZAR, Brussels. 2008 and at Homeworks V, Beirut 2010).
Michael Hardt (born 1960) is an American literary theorist and political philosopher perhaps best known for Empire, written with Antonio Negri and published in 2000.It has been called the Communist Manifesto of the 21st Century.
Hardt and his co-author suggest that what they view as forces of contemporary class oppression, globalization and the commodification of services (or production of affects), have the potential to spark social change of unprecedented dimensions. A sequel, Multitude: War and Democracy in the Age of Empire, published in August 2004, details the notion, first propounded in Empire, of the multitude as possible locus of a democratic movement of global proportions.
The third and final part of the trilogy, Commonwealth, appeared in the Fall of 2009.
